Painting in Hawaii

A few weeks ago my husband and I had a lunch date at this beautiful place, Kekaha Kai State Park. This is one of my favorite beaches, so peaceful. Dennis hiked to Maks, swam and took pictures while I did this little 5x7" oil painting titled "Safe Haven" which I finished yesterday. I have painted this view so many times and yet each painting looks so different.
