This was such a beautiful place! On March 10, 2011, the staff of Kona Village Resort safely evacuated all guests after a tsunami warning generated by a magnitude 8.9 earthquake that occurred off the coast of Japan.

The Kona Village Resort announced in March of 2011 that it would close indefinitely due to structural and property damage it sustained in the earthquake-generated tsunami.
Anew resort is to open in 2022!

*Framed in a 2 1/2" wide classic Plein Air wood frame in an espresso finish.
